I have a cat that scratches the walls of side of dresser drawers etc. when I’m a sleep to get me up. It sounds like taking finger nails on a chalk board. I say No firmly, get up and put the kitty down off the furniture etc. I know this cat just wants me up with them. I have two cats, and the other one just sleeps. If I put them out and shut the door, they scratch at the door and meow. Any ideas on what to do to break this? I have tried several times not to give in to this behavior, but after awhile it gets to you. Help!
